Paros Airport (PAS): a practical guide

Paros Airport (PAS) is a small airport in the southwest of the island, about 10 km from Parikia. It opened in 2016 and mostly serves short flights from Athens. Here is who flies there, how far it is from Naoussa and Antiparos, and the easiest ways to get from the runway to your villa.

Where Paros Airport is

Paros Airport is in the Kampos area in the southwest of the island, about 10 km from Parikia and about 20 km from Naoussa. By car it is roughly 25 minutes to Naoussa and a short drive to Pounta, where the car ferry leaves for Antiparos. It replaced the old airport in July 2016 and has a 1,400 m runway, so it takes regional aircraft rather than large jets. The terminal is small and easy to get through.

Airlines and routes

Olympic Air and Sky Express fly between Athens and Paros, with several flights a day in summer and a flight time of about 40 to 45 minutes. Sky Express has also run seasonal flights to Thessaloniki. Summer charters from abroad are occasional, so most international visitors connect through Athens. Seats are limited in July and August: book the Paros leg as soon as your international flight is set, and check the baggage allowance on your domestic fare.

Getting from the airport

Taxis wait at a rank outside the terminal, but there are only a few, and in summer you may queue. KTEL public buses run to Parikia, about every 30 minutes in summer, with connections to other villages. The simplest option is a pre-booked transfer: we track your flight, meet you at arrivals and drive you straight to your villa. Transfers start from €80 per vehicle, for example Paros Airport to Naoussa for up to 4 guests from €90 in summer, and a Mercedes Vito with driver can be booked by the hour or day on request.

We work out of Naoussa, the harbour town on the north coast of Paros. Parikia port is about 15 minutes away by car, the airport around 25, and Pounta, for the Antiparos ferry, is an easy drive. Pickups, boardings and flights are all coordinated from here.
