Your boat, your departure time

Ferries run to fixed timetables and fill up in August. A private transfer leaves from Naoussa harbour when you are ready, with a skipper who knows these waters. From Naoussa, on the north coast, Mykonos and Naxos are direct runs. Our Paros fleet covers small and larger groups: Technohull GT7 RIB for up to 7, GTX for up to 8, Axopar 37 for up to 10 and Azimut 56 flybridge for up to 12. Bigger groups of up to 25 travel on a yacht from Mykonos, boarding at Parikia port.

Door to door, car and boat

We plan the whole move, not just the crossing. A driver collects you and your luggage from the villa, takes you to the boat and another driver meets you on the other island. Airport and port transfers start from €80, and a Mercedes Vito with driver is available for groups. If you are moving on to another island for a few nights, our Mykonos and Tinos teams can meet you and look after the rest of your stay there.

Weather and the meltemi

In July and August the meltemi, a strong northerly wind, can make the open sea rough between islands. Your skipper checks the forecast the evening before and on the morning of the transfer. If the sea is too rough for a comfortable crossing, we move the time, switch to a larger boat or book a helicopter instead: Paros to Mykonos by helicopter starts from €1,500.

We work out of Naoussa, the harbour town on the north coast of Paros. Parikia port is about 15 minutes away by car, the airport around 25, and Pounta, for the Antiparos ferry, is an easy drive. Pickups, boardings and flights are all coordinated from here.

How do I get from Paros to Antiparos?

The quickest public option is the car ferry from Pounta, which crosses about 1 nautical mile in roughly 7 minutes. Pounta is about 15 minutes by car from Parikia. For a private option, our boat can take you straight to the Antiparos waterfront, priced on request.

Yes, but it is the longest common route at about 41.5 nautical miles. The fastest ferries take about 1 hour 30 minutes, so a larger, more comfortable boat is usually the better choice. In strong wind we may suggest a helicopter, available on request.

Is the sea rough between the Cyclades in summer?

It can be, especially in July and August when the meltemi blows from the north. Your skipper checks the forecast before every transfer and decides whether the crossing is comfortable. If not, we change the time, use a larger boat or switch to a helicopter.
