Which jets can land in Paros

The airport opened in July 2016 with a single asphalt runway of 1,400 m. It handles turboprops and light to midsize jets. In 2025 the most frequent private aircraft at Paros were the Citation XLS, the Grand Caravan EX and the Citation Latitude. Larger jets need a longer runway, so we plan those flights into Mykonos or Santorini. We confirm the aircraft, the airport hours and parking for your date before anything is booked.

Schengen rules and customs

Paros is not an airport of entry. It accepts private flights from EU and Schengen countries only. Flights from the UK, Turkey, Israel, the US and other non-Schengen countries clear in at Mykonos, Athens or Santorini first. From there the jet continues to Paros, or you switch to a helicopter: Mykonos to Paros starts from €1,500. A dedicated general aviation handler at Paros looks after the paperwork and keeps passenger processing short.

  • Non-Schengen: clear in at Mykonos, Athens or Santorini

Can a private jet land in Paros?

Yes, Paros Airport (PAS) takes turboprops and light to midsize private jets. Its single runway is 1,400 m long, which rules out larger jets, so those fly into Mykonos or Santorini instead. We check the aircraft against the airport for your exact date before you book.

Which private jets fly to Paros most often?

In 2025 the most frequent private aircraft at Paros were the Cessna Citation XLS, the Cessna Grand Caravan EX and the Citation Latitude. These are light to midsize jets and a turboprop, which suit the 1,400 m runway. Similar aircraft in the same class are usually fine too.

Can I fly a private jet to Paros from outside Schengen?

Not directly, because Paros is not an airport of entry and only accepts flights from EU and Schengen countries. Flights from the UK, Turkey, Israel, the US and similar countries clear in at Mykonos, Athens or Santorini. From there you continue by jet or by helicopter, with Mykonos to Paros from €1,500.

What if my jet is too large for Paros?

Then you land in Mykonos or Santorini and continue to Paros. Mykonos has a 1,903 m runway and Santorini 2,197 m. From Mykonos a helicopter to Paros starts from €1,500, and Paros is about 23 to 24 nautical miles away by private boat.

How much does a private jet to Paros cost?

Indicative LunaJets guide prices (1 Oct 2026) start at €5,600 one way from Paros to Athens on a PC-12 NGX turboprop, or €8,700 on a Citation XLS, with crew, fuel and landing fees included. How far is Paros Airport from Naoussa?

Paros Airport is about 25 minutes by car from Naoussa and about 10 km from Parikia. Our airport transfers start from €80 per vehicle, with meet and greet and flight tracking. A luxury car with driver, such as a G63 or Range Rover, starts from €600.

When is Paros Airport open for private flights?
